Monument Restaurant & Tavern in Charlestown to Be Joined by Second Dining Spot

The people behind a Charlestown restaurant known in part for its wood-fired pizza will be opening another dining spot, though details are few right now.

According to a post within the jobs section of bostonchefs.com, Monument Restaurant & Tavern on Main Street is "adding a sister restaurant" and is looking for a Chef de Cuisine to work with the Executive Chef. No address, name, or concept has been given as of yet, and while there are rumors as to where the new dining spot may be opening, nothing has been confirmed. (We have reached out to Monument and are waiting to hear back from them.)

Monument Restaurant & Tavern first opened in early 2017 in the former Paolo's Trattoria space. Its menu includes such items as pizza, burgers, Cubanos, braised short ribs, paella, lobster gnocchi, and brick chicken.
