Alma Gaucha Prime Brazilian Steakhouse Opens in Former Social Register Space in Aloft Hotel in South Boston

A brand new option for meat lovers has come to South Boston, moving into the space in a hotel where another dining and drinking spot had been.

The Tables section of The Boston Globe states that Alma Gaucha Prime Brazilian Steakhouse is now open on D Street across from the Lawn on D, and as reported earlier, it takes over the former Social Register space inside Aloft Hotel. The Globe mentions that the 300-seat eatery offers tableside meat skewers along with seafood options and a buffet area that includes fruit, veggies, salami, and cheeses, while desserts such as flan and cheesecake are also available.

The Social Register closed this past December after being in business for approximately 2 1/2 years.

The address for Alma Gaucho Prime Brazilian Steakhouse (and Aloft Hotel) is 401 D Street, South Boston, MA, 02210. Its website can be found at https://www.almagauchausa.com/home
