Bubor Cha Cha in Boston's Chinatown Has Reopened

A Chinatown restaurant that closed down last fall has opened back up, though apparently with at least a partial change in concept.

According to a source (Geoff Wong), Bubor Cha Cha on Beach Street is open once again, with the sign out front indicating that the dining spot now features Hunan cuisine. When the restaurant first opened in 2009, it initially focused on Malaysian, Thai, and Indonesian fare but eventually became more of a Cantonese spot including a variety of seafood offerings.

As reported here earlier, it looked like a restaurant called "Chef Tan" might be replacing Bubor Cha Cha, with a sign posted at the time indicating that authentic Hunan cuisine would be offered at the place.

The address for Bubor Cha Cha is 45 Beach Street, Boston, MA, 02111.
