Yunnan Vegetarian Cuisine Opens in Quincy

A new vegetarian restaurant has come to Quincy, and it features dishes with both Chinese and Southeast Asian influences.

According to a source, Yunnan Vegetarian Cuisine is now open within President Plaza on Quincy Avenue, with a check on the happycow.net site indicating that the dining spot offers a variety of hot noodle soup options along with such items as a soy chicken salad, a vegetarian version of a pu pu platter, wonton soup, yellow vermicelli, and coconut jello. Yunnan--whose name comes from a province of Southwest China that borders Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar--appears to be a small space with some seating inside, while also offering takeout.

The address for this new restaurant in Quincy is: Yunnan Vegetarian Cuisine, 219 Quincy Avenue (President Plaza), Quincy, MA, 02169.
