ZC Boston in the South End Has Closed

A Pan-Asian restaurant in the South End that went through a rebranding a couple of years after it opened has shut down.

According to a tweet from @Caddy2489, ZC Boston on Mass. Ave. is no longer in business, with a Yelp post indicating it may have closed in January (or possibly earlier). No reason has been given for the restaurant's closure, nor is it known what might go into its space; as soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.

ZC Boston was a rebranding of Roka, with the latter opening in 2013 and the former replacing it in 2015. Both restaurants focused mainly on Chinese and Japanese fare, including sushi.

The address for this now-closed Pan-Asian restaurant in the South End was: ZC Boston, 801 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston, MA, 02118.
