According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Achilito's Taqueria is planning to open a new location in Brighton, moving into the former Dates and Olives space on Chestnut Hill Avenue. Based on the original location across from the Forest Hills T station, expect the new outlet to feature tacos, burritos, quesadillas, flautas, enchiladas, tostadas, and more, assuming it will have a similar menu.
Dates and Olives first opened in Brighton in 2015, taking over the space that had been home to Bento Cafe; another location of Dates and Olives in Natick remains in operation, according to a message sent from the restaurant.
The address for the new location of Achilito's Taqueria is 160 Chestnut Hill Avenue, Brighton, MA, 02135. The website for the original location in the Forest Hills section of Jamaica Plain can be found at https://www.achilitos.com/
[March 12, 2021 update: According to its website, Achilito's Taqueria is now open in Brighton, and as indicated here in another article, this is actually their third location as another one has opened at Patriot Place in Foxboro.]
