The Met Natick Has Closed for Good

Earlier this week, it was reported that a local restaurant group had closed a seafood spot within a Boston food hall, and now we have learned that they have closed a suburban steakhouse as well.

According to an article from Framingham Source, The Met Natick is no longer in operation, with a message sent to us this morning from a person from one of the Sidell Hospitality restaurants confirming that it indeed will not be reopening after being closed since the spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On Monday, we mentioned that Saltie Girl at Time Out Market in the Fenway--which was also part of Sidell Hospitality--had shuttered, though the original Saltie Girl restaurant in Boston's Back Bay remains in operation, as does Stephanie's on Newbury. (The Back Bay location of Saltie Girl has also taken over the adjacent Met Back Bay space for the time being, with Met Back Bay being temporarily closed and some of their dishes being offered at Stephanie's for now.)

The Met Natick first opened in the Natick Mall back in 2007.
