Number One Taste Opens in Former Tiki Inn Space in East Arlington

A Chinese-American restaurant in the western suburbs of Boston has expanded to a third location nearby, with this one taking over the space that had been home to another Chinese-American eatery for a long time.

According to a post within The Arlington List Facebook group page, Number One Taste Chinese Food is now open in Arlington, moving into the former Tiki Inn space on Mass. Ave. The original location of the new eatery remains open on Trapelo Road in Belmont, and like that location, the Arlington outlet offers such Chinese-American favorites as chicken fingers, Peking ravioli, steak teriyaki, spare ribs, cashew chicken, kung pow beef, lo mein, egg foo young, and more.  (Another can be found in Melrose.)

Tiki Inn, which was mainly a Chinese-American takeout spot, had been in business since at least the 1980s.

The address for the new location of Number One Taste Chinese Food is 165 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA, 02474. The website for the new location is at https://number1arlington.com/
