Cafe Beatrice Opens at Cambridge Crossing in East Cambridge October 17

An "all-day cafe" that had popped up in Allston for several months last year is being reborn in a permanent space in Cambridge this weekend.

According to an article from Cambridge Day, Cafe Beatrice debuts on Saturday, October 17 at Cambridge Crossing in East Cambridge, with the place offering such items as baked goods, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee while having some indoor and outdoor seating. This is the first of three spots that Will Gilson of Puritan & Co. is opening at the new mixed-use development, with The Lexington planning to open in early November and Geppetto looking to open in 2021; the former will be a second-floor restaurant with a rooftop bar while the latter will be an Italian restaurant on the first floor. (All three dining spots will be located in a building called The Shed.)

Cafe Beatrice had resided on Western Avenue in Lower Allston from May to October of last year.

The website for Cafe Beatrice (and all three restaurants at Cambridge Crossing) can be found at https://www.thelexingtoncx.com/, with the address being 100 North First Street just north of Lechmere Square.
