A North End dining spot known in part for its burgers has shut down permanently.
According to a tweet from @rousee, Cobblestone Cafe on Hanover Street is no longer in operation, with a Facebook post from the place indicating that it actually shut down late last month. The restaurant was part diner and part coffee shop, offering such items as soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza, wings, ice cream, coffee, and a variety of burgers.
Cobblestone Cafe first opened in 2013, taking over the space that had been home to Hot Tomatoes Express.
The address for the now-closed Cobblestone Cafe in the North End was 227 Hanover Street, Boston, MA, 02113.
