A Dorchester pizzeria that moved to a new location last year is getting ready to open another outlet in the southern suburbs of Boston.
According to a source, Windy City Pizza is opening a shop in Weymouth, which jibes with an earlier article here from last year that looked into the Dorchester location moving from Gallivan Boulevard to Morrissey Boulevard. In that article, it looked like the new shop would be opening on Main Street in Weymouth, though we are still trying to find out its exact location.
The move of the Dorchester location of Windy City Pizzeria stemmed at least in part from "a small electrical incident" that took place at its former home in July of 2019; it opened in its new location approximately four months later. (Another location can be found on Newport Avenue in North Quincy.)
