A new microbrewery could be coming to an historic space within a neighborhood in the outer reaches of Boston.
According to an article from Universal Hub, Roundhead Brewing Company is looking to open in the Westinghouse Plaza complex in the Readville section of Hyde Park, with Luis Espinoza being behind it along with business partner Craig Panzer (who used to work at City Feed and Supply in Jamaica Plain). Espinoza indicates that the proposed brewery would be family-friendly, with soft drinks available to children and food trucks being part of the plan. If approved, Roundhead Brewing Company could be opening in June.
Westinghouse Plaza's roots date back well over 100 years, and it was once home to fan manufacturer B.F. Sturtevant Co; the complex is located just off Neponset Valley Parkway.
