Tesoro Cucina Is Replacing Dom's Pizza and Subs in Beverly

[Ed note: This article was updated to reflect confirmation that a new spot is moving into the space.]

A longtime pizza place on the North Shore is shutting down, and a new eatery is opening in its space.

According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Dom's Pizza and Subs in Beverly is getting ready to close, with a Facebook post for the Bridge Street spot saying that "Dom has decided after 30+ years in the business that he is going to retire. December 19th will be our last day. We wanted to thank all our great customers for their support and kindness!!!  Thank you and happy holidays!!!" In addition to pizza, Dom's also offers salads, sandwiches and subs, and pasta dishes--and it serves both thin-crust pies and Sicilian pizza.

The address for Dom's Pizza and Subs is 79 Bridge Street, Beverly, MA, 01915.

[February 4, 2022 update: According to a post from the Salem News, Tesoro Cucina has opened in the former Dom's space, offering soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, and pizza; the article also says that owner Bill Aylward (Papa Razzi, Legal Sea Foods, Burtons Grill) is the grandson of the "Bill" of Bill & Bob's Roast Beef.]
