Mirisola's in South Boston Has Closed Permanently

A longtime pizzeria and Italian eatery in South Boston that has been closed due to the pandemic has shut down for good.

According to an article from Universal Hub, Mirisola's on L Street has closed permanently, as owner Gaetano Mirasola--who lives above the dining spot--has decided to retire and will not be reopening the place. The post indicates that the space will not become home to another restaurant, as Mirasola plans to convert it into a three-bedroom apartment.

Mirisola's first opened in 1998, offering such items as pizza, calzones, arancini, pasta, Italian subs, pork loin, veal marsala, and more.

The address for the now-closed Mirisola's was 200 L Street, South Boston, MA, 02127.
