A couple of years ago, it was reported that a location of a wood-fired pizzeria was for lease, and now we have learned that a new Indian restaurant is moving into the space.
According to an article from the Framingham Source, Silk-Global Cuisine is planning to open in Framingham, taking over the former Volturno space on Edgell Road. The post mentions that Agape Restaurant Group, which runs Kumar's in Northbrough, is behind the proposed eatery.
The Framingham location of Volturno closed at the start of the pandemic in March of 2020, and a few months later, a "Space Available" sign went up out front; the Worcester location of Volturno remains in operation.
