A chain of Indian restaurants with one location in Massachusetts has opened a second outlet, and this one is a bit closer to Boston.
According to a tweet from @JeremyKrantz, Honest Restaurant is now open in Norwood, moving into the space on Route 1 that had been home to Bon Caldo. The new location of Honest joins another in Lowell along with other outlets in 14 states around the country, and it focuses on vegetarian fare including dosas and sandwiches.
Bon Caldo closed down in early 2020 just before the start of the pandemic; it was known in part for its wood-fired grill and extensive wine list.
