It looks like a pop-up known in part for its gelato may be opening a brick-and-mortar pizza and gelato spot in Somerville, and it would apparently be moving into a space that had been home to combination pizzeria/French bakery-cafe.
According to a source, it appears that La Bottega is planning to open in Union Square in the T&B Pizza/Turenne space on Washington Street, with a page within the city's website seeming to confirm this, indicating that the address given for the new place is the same as that of T&B Pizza/Turenne. An Instagram page for La Bottega mentions gelato, pastry, and pizza while also linking to a fundraising campaign for the business.
T&B Pizza first opened in the summer of summer of 2019, with Turenne debuting within the space in the fall of 2020.
