A Boston bakery that has a well-known Israeli baker behind it will be joined by another location just west of the city.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page (via an Instagram story from the business), Bakey is planning to open in Brookline, joining the one that opened on Tremont Street across from Boston Common in September of 2021. Based on that location, expect to see fresh breads, burekas, babkas, croissants, bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and more at the new store.
Bakey co-founder Uri Scheft is known in part for being behind Lehamim Bakery in Israel and Breads Bakery in New York City while also writing a cookbook called "Breaking Breads."

[May 19 update: A poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page mentions (via a new Instagram post from the place) that Bakey debuts today in Brookline, with its address being 370 Harvard Street.]
