It looks like a bakery that got its start more than 100 years ago is for sale.
According to multiple sources, New Paris Bakery in Brookline is on the market, with pictures sent to us as well as a post within the Brookline Townwide Discussion Facebook group page showing a "for sale" sign out front. A comment from owner New Paris Bakery owner Roula Kappas within the Facebook group says that the shop will stay open through September and that it is indeed up for sale.
New Paris Bakery was established on Boylston Street in Boston in 1919, moving to its Cypress Street location in Brookline 10 years later; the shop is known for its eclairs.
The address for New Paris Bakery is 10 Cypress Street, Brookline, MA 02445.
[September 25 update: WBUR reports that New Paris Bakery is now closed.]
