A new Italian spot is coming to the southwest suburbs of Boston, and the person behind a North Cambridge restaurant that closed down seven years ago is going to be running the place.
According to a post within the jobs section of the bostonchefs.com site, Daje is planning to open in Medfield, with its Instagram page saying that it will focus on takeout and offer pizza, house-made pasta, panini, and bread. A Bizapedia page for the Park Street spot shows the owner as being Riccardo Passini, who was behind L'Impasto, an Italian restaurant in North Cambridge that resided on Mass. Ave. from 2011 to 2016 and was known in part for its pasta dishes and its freshly-made breads.
The address for Daje is 26 Park Street, Medfield, MA, 02052. Its Instagram page can be found at https://www.instagram.com/daje.medfield/
[August 14 update: A Twitter post from @JeremyKrantz indicates that Daje is now open.]
