A brand new Mexican restaurant from the people behind Tenoch that has been in the works for more than five years has finally opened.
According to social media posts from the place, El Tacuba has opened in Medford Square, with the new spot featuring the type of seafood options found in Veracruz (a state on the Gulf of Mexico), while also offering dishes with influences from other parts of Mexico. The new restaurant will start off with dinner service only, with brunch being introduced at a later date, and in addition to its food offerings, alcohol (including beer, cocktails, and tequila) will be available as well.
In addition to El Tacuba, owners Alvaro and Andrés Sandoval also run locations of Tenoch in Medford Square, Boston's North End, Cambridge, Melrose, and Somerville.
The address for El Tacuba is 35 Salem Street, Medford, MA, 02155. Its website can be found at https://www.eltacuba.com/
