A few weeks ago, it was reported that a North Shore restaurant that resided in an historic space had shut down and would be replaced by a new dining spot, and now we have learned that the new restaurant has debuted.
Based on its website, Vita Bella Ristorante is now open in Essex, taking over the space on Eastern Avenue that had been home to Windward Grille Restaurant Space in Essex until it shuttered recently. As mentioned in an earlier article, the new spot is an Italian restaurant, with its menu showing such options as antipasto, bruschetta, bolognese, lasagna, stuffed shells, shrimp scampi, baked haddock, pan-seared scallops, and tiramisu.
