A pair of casual upscale Italian restaurants known for their pizza and pasta dishes will soon be down to just one, as their MetroWest location is getting ready to shut down.
According to multiple sources as well as a post within the ChewOnThis Facebook group page, Tavolino in Westborough is going to be closing its doors on March 1 after being in operation for 16 years, with no specific reason being given for the closure of the spot which is located within Bay State Commons. It appears that the Foxboro location of the restaurant will remain open, as will Citizen Crust in Foxboro and Siena in Mashpee, both of which have an ownership connection.
The address for Tavolino in Westborough is 33 E Main Street, Westborough, MA, 01581. The website for both locations is at https://www.tavolinorestaurant.us/
