It looks like a chef, writer, and host of a popular Travel Channel show is touring the Boston area right now.
Based on articles from

The Lowell Sun as well as Twitter posts from the host himself, Andrew Zimmern of
Bizarre Foods is checking out various restaurants in and around Boston, supposedly for the filming of an upcoming
Bizarre Foods episode. Universal Hub mentions that the TV celebrity was at Maria's Pastry and The Daily Catch in Boston's North End yesterday, while the
the Twitter page for Andrew Zimmern indicates that today he is in Marblehead, going dogfishing and having some food made by the chef of 5 Corners Kitchen. And according to The Lowell Sun, Zimmern is heading to the Cambodian restaurant Simply Khmer in Lowell tomorrow.

[August 25 update, part 2: It looks like Andrew Zimmern is now on a boat with the Island Creek Oysters people in Duxbury, and it appears that they may be harvesting oysters for Thomas Keller, who is owner of the award-winning Napa Valley restaurant The French Laundry in Yountville, CA.
