Honeygrow Is Opening at Boston Landing in Brighton

Last spring, it was reported that a Philadelphia-based group of dining spots would be bringing another location to Boston, and now we know a bit more about it, including an exact address.

According to a licensing board hearing page within the city's website, Honeygrow is planning to open at Boston Landing in Brighton, moving into a space on Guest Street. The notice mentions that the new eatery plans to have seating for 48 while also having a seasonal outdoor patio, and based on the locations section of the website for the business, this is the location that Honeygrow previously said would be coming to Allston (the Allston/Brighton line is along the eastern edge of Boston Landing).

If approved, the new location of Honeygrow will join others locally in the Fenway and the Seaport District along with the Northshore Mall in Peabody, and it will likely focus on stir-fry dishes while also offering salads and honeybars.

The address for the Boston Landing location of Honeygrow is 305 Guest Street, Boston, MA, 02134. The website for Honeygrow can be found at https://www.honeygrow.com/

[March 13 update: According to a press release, the new Honeygrow is now open, and it is located within Alder at Allston Yards which is right by the Allston/Brighton line.]

Mainely Burgers at Boston Landing in Brighton Has Closed

The sole remaining Boston-area location of a gourmet burger spot with roots up north has shut down.

According to a source, Mainely Burgers at Boston Landing in Brighton is no longer in business, with a sign out front saying that it shuttered over the past few days (and its website and social media have confirmed this). There had once been two locations in the local area, with the location in Cambridge's Central Square closing in 2023; it does appear that the Mainely Burgers food trucks will remain in operation in Maine, based on information from its social media.

The Boston Landing location of Mainely Burgers first opened toward the end of 2018.

The address for the now-closed location of Mainely Burgers at Boston Landing was 133 Guest Street, Brighton, MA, 02135. The website for the business is at https://www.mainelyburgers.com/

Tradesman Coffee Shop and Lounge Is Opening at Boston Landing in Brighton

A local restaurant group is planning to open another location of one of its concepts, and this will reside within a mixed-use development along the Mass. Pike.

According to a licensing board hearing page within the City of Boston website, Tradesman is looking to open at Boston Landing in Brighton, with the Guest Street space including various dining areas and a bar along with a seasonal outdoor patio. A page within the lendlease.com site mentions that the new location would be on the first floor of FORUM, which is a nine-story life sciences development, and it will offer an all-day menu of baked goods, sandwiches, and more while also serving coffee and espresso, beer, wine, and cocktails.

The team behind Tradesman (MNM Restaurant Group) runs three other locations in Boston along with Fin Point Oyster Bar, Amber Road and Urban Wild.

The address for Tradesman at Boston Landing is 60 Guest Street, Brighton, MA, 02135.

[July 4 update: According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Tradesman is now open at Boston Landing, though apparently just Monday through Friday, at least for now.]
