Port 305 Opening at Marina Bay in Quincy
A new waterfront restaurant is coming to Quincy, opening in the space where another dining spot closed late last year. According to both Yelp and an earlier article in the Patriot Ledger/Wicked Local, Port 305 is going to open at the site of the former Skyline restaurant on the boardwalk at Marina Bay. Both sites indicate that the new family-friendly spot, which will also have a function room on the second floor, is looking at opening sometime this spring. The people behind Port 305 also own Siros, an upscale Italian restaurant that is around the corner on the Marina Bay boardwalk.
Skyline, a restaurant that featured seafood and American fare, closed in November of 2009 after being in business under that name for about five years. It had gone through several ownership changes as well as a name change over the years (it was originally called Amelia's).
[June 14 update: According to a poster on the Chowhound site, Port 305 is now open.]
The address for this restaurant in the Marina Bay section of Quincy is: Port 305, 305 Victory Road (Marina Bay), North Quincy, MA, 02171.

I hope the new owners will fix the lighting problem of skyline. It was so bright...like the cleaning crew was coming in. What ever happened to dining in dim light with a candle on the table? If some old bitty says she cant read the menu, bring her a flashlight!
It was the worst dining experience of my life. The food was horrible, the service was terrible and the owner was rude. I would not waste time or money on this place..... There are so many other resturants to enjoy so stay away from this one !!!!
Don't waste your time unless you like waiting 30 minutes for your waitress to show up, mess up your order, then disappear for 2 hours while all you want is your bill because the service and food was so bad. Then receive your bill and see that you have been charged double of everything you ordered and the manager only response was there was a "computer glitch" and they can't correct the bill. Stay away from this place!!! I now understand why the place was not busy at all.
As I write this at 1:00 am My wife and I are taking turns getting sick from our meal.
Cajun Surf & turf and Baked Haddock.
We were part of a party of 18 on Kentucky Derby Night in the rain and sat
on the enclosed exterior porch with a reservation made days in advance.
The staff was sending smokers out onto the enclosed exterior porch within 5 feet of our table. We complained on two separate occasions during the meal and the waitstaff could not get anyone to address the issue. No one ever came to our table to address the problem.
The service was slow, and once the food arrived it took a good 10 + minutes for everyone at the table to get there food so we could start eating our cold Entree.
I understand this is the same ownership as Siros it was agreed that we would never return.
