A local organization is bringing an international HIV/AIDS fundraiser to the Boston area for the first time, and the event will include a number of restaurants in and around the city. According to the website of Cambridge Cares About AIDS, Thursday, April 29 will be the date of Dining Out for Life, a fundraiser in which participating restaurants donate 25% of customers' bills to help CCA provide HIV/AIDS care and prevention services to over 3,000 people in the Boston area.
Dining Out for Life is an international HIV/AIDS fundraiser that has held events throughout the United States and Canada. According to the CCA website, the event raised more than $3 million in 2009.
