Think Tank Opening in Kendall Square, Cambridge

A new restaurant and bar is coming to Kendall Square in Cambridge, and it may feature more than just food and drink. According to several sources, including Grub Street Boston, Think Tank is going to be opening at One Kendall Square, Building 300, where Shine Lounge used to be (Shine closed in the summer of 2008 after being in business for about a year and a half).

Based on notes from a license commission general hearing on the City of Cambridge website, Think Tank is looking to have dancing, comedy shows, and live music. The restaurant and bar is hoping to be open until 2:00 AM, according to the notes, and it is planning on having room for about 225 patrons (including seating for approximately 25 outside during the warmer weather).

Grub Street Boston mentions that Think Tank will feature New American fare, with some Middle Eastern and Asian leanings.

[June 15 update: Based on reservations being taken for Think Tank on the OpenTable website (and a post on the Chowhound site), it looks like the restaurant will be opening today.]
