A food-based fundraiser for a Somerville-based organization that helps work with the city's immigrant community is coming in late April.
A press release from The Welcome Project indicates that YUM: A Taste of Immigrant City will be held at The Center for Arts at the Armory on Highland Avenue in Somerville on Wednesday, April 27 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The event will include food from several immigrant-owned restaurants in Somerville, as well as drinks and music. Restaurants that will be participating include Diva Indian Bistro, Fasika, Maya Sol, Ronnarong Thai Tapas Bar, Sabur, and Yak & Yeti.
Tickets to YUM: A Taste of Immigrant City cost $40 each and include access to food and local entertainment.
