An email sent to us from chilitakedown.com indicates that the Boston Bacon Takedown will be held at the Armory on Highland Avenue on June 19, starting at 3:00 PM. The event will feature 20 Boston cooks who will be creating a variety of bacon-based dishes, with guests judging each dish to decide which one is the best. In addition to prizes for the cooks, attendees will have a chance to win a year's supply of Hormel Black Label Bacon.
Tickets to the 2011 Boston Bacon Takedown cost $15. Please note that this is an all ages event, so children are welcome.
