A fundraiser celebration that features guacamole and tequila tasting is coming to the Fort Point neighborhood of Boston later this month, and proceeds from the event will be going to a good cause.
An email from 451 Marketing indicates that Guacapalooza will be held at Papagayo on Summer Street on Monday, September 26 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the event benefiting the Greg Hill Foundation, whose mission is to respond to the immediate needs of families touched by tragedy. (Greg Hill is the morning radio host on WAAF.) The fundraiser will include four tasting stations focusing on different guacamole preparations and paired with tequila vendors, with appetizers from Papagayo also being offered to guests throughout the evening. Live music will be provided at the event as well.
