The group behind the WZLX Monster Food Truck Festival which was held in Framingham earlier this month is at it again, hosting another food truck event in the area this weekend, with this one being just north of downtown Boston.
According to the Suffolk Downs website, Food Truck Festivals of New England is bringing the Suffolk Downs Food Truck Festival to the East Boston racetrack on Saturday, October 22 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The event, which is sponsored by MAGIC 106.7 FM, will include a number of food trucks, including Away Cafe, Captain's Coffee Brewers, Franca's Wood Fired Catering, The FroYo Truck, Lobsta Love, Sweet Truck, The Happy Taco, and several others. Tickets to enter the Suffolk Downs Food Truck Festival cost $5, with all proceeds benefiting local charities. Parking for the event is free.
In addition to the food trucks, there will also be a full afternoon of live racing as well as children's activities, with face painting and balloon artists being included.
The address for Suffolk Downs is 111 Waldemar Avenue in East Boston (a short distance southeast of where Routes 16, 1A, and 145 intersect).
