A new restaurant has been proposed for one of Cambridge's hottest neighborhoods for dining out, and the person behind it also happens to own a highly-regarded restaurant in nearby Somerville.
A License Commission General Hearing page on the City of Cambridge website indicates that a dining spot that will tentatively be called Angel's Share is planning to open on Cambridge Street on the eastern edge of Inman Square, with the post saying that Keith Pooler of Bergamot on Beacon Street in Somerville is the manager. The eatery would have a seating capacity of 49 and possible hours of 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM seven days a week, and it appears that the landlord of the spot would be Clover Food Lab, based on a form from the Wufoo site.
It is not known when this restaurant might open, or if Angel's Share will be the final name (rather than a working name), so keep checking back for updates.
[May 21, 2014 update: Eater Boston is reporting (via Zagat) that Angel's Share was indeed a working name only, as the actual name of the restaurant will be BISq (which stands for "Bergamot in Inman Square").]
[May 26, 2015 update: A Twitter post from @kcbaskin indicates that BISq will open this Saturday (May 30).]
The address for this new restaurant in Inman Square is 1071 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA, 02141.
