A brand new watering hole is opening in the southern suburbs of Boston, taking over the space where a shop that focused on a popular regional food item had been.
According to a source, a new bar appears to have soft-opened in Holbrook, moving into the former Boston Cream Pie Company space on S Franklin Street. It looks like the drinking spot may have soft-opened on Friday, though it does not appear to have a name (no sign is up for the place) and it is apparently not serving any food at this point in time.
Boston Cream Pie Company first opened in Holbrook in the summer of 2017 only to close a year later, with the business originally selling the Boston Cream Pies (along with other pies) from tricycles stationed in Boston.
The address for this new bar in Holbrook is 783 S Franklin Street, Holbrook, MA, 02343.
[January 16 update: A message sent to us indicates that the new bar in Holbrook is called 32 Counties and that it plans to officially open over the next few weeks, as the opening last week was indeed just a private soft opening.]
