It looks like a small group of Taiwanese restaurants known in part for their crispy fried chicken will be opening a second location in the Boston area.
According to a Twitter post from @QuincyTweets, Cheers Cut is opening on Billings Road, with a tweet from @ahGwenYee saying that it is moving into a space that had been home to an insurance company. Based on the menu at the outlet in Allston that opened last summer, the new location could offer such items as crispy chicken, chicken nuggets, fried shrimp, sauteed calamari, fried diced beef, and more.
In addition to its Allston and upcoming North Quincy locations, Cheers Cut also has shops in New York and Florida.
The address for Cheers Cut in North Quincy will be 19 Billings Road, Quincy, MA, 02171.
[May 21 update: A Yelp page for the place indicates that Cheers Cut has soft-opened, and that it also has some sort of a connection to OneZo, an adjacent bubble tea spot that had soft-opened as well.]
