It looks like a brewery just south of downtown Boston has some big plans in the works.
According to an article from WBUR, Dorchester Brewing Company is looking to add a restaurant to its space, with a rooftop greenhouse and a roofdeck included in its plans along with a larger tasting room. The post mentions that the restaurant will be run by a local food truck and that it will focus on barbecue, while the greenhouse will be surrounded by the roofdeck and will have a fireplace and a beer bar. If all goes as planned, the new expansion should be up and running by October.
Dorchester Brewing Company, which first opened in the summer of 2016, was the first dedicated contract brewing facility to open in Boston--and the entire state of Massachusetts. The beers produced here come from both the people behind the brewery itself along with other brewers in the local area and beyond.
