A brewery and taproom that has been a long time in the making has finally come to the city.
According to a message from Universal Hub, Distraction Brewing Company is now open in Roslindale Village, moving into the former Select Cafe/Emack & Bolio's space on Belgrade Avenue. This has been confirmed by the brewery's Facebook page, posting yesterday that "Beer's cold, doors are officially open!....(Regular hours TBD - check back here for updates!)" Distraction is the first actual brewery to come to Roslindale, as while Turtle Swamp has a beer hall in the neighborhood as well, its beers come from its Jamaica Plain brewery.
