Thistle & Leek to Open Somewhere in the Boston Area

Two veterans within the Boston and New York restaurant scenes are planning to open a brand new dining and drinking spot somewhere in the local area.

According to an article from Boston Magazine, Thistle & Leek is going to be opening in an undisclosed location in the Boston area, with Kate and Trevor Smith being behind it. The couple have worked at a number of well-known spots over the years, including Coppa, Craigie Street Bistrot, and Toro in the Boston area and Gramercy Tavern and Le Bernardin in New York City, and they are now looking to open what will be a "refined" gastropub with Spanish and Italian influences. An upcoming event will give a preview of what Thistle & Leek may offer once it opens, and an Instagram page has been set up for the place, though little has been posted there as of yet.

As soon as we find out more about Thistle & Leek, we will post an update here, so stay tuned for more information.
