Coffee Break Cafe Closing Its Quincy Center Shop; South Quincy Outlet Opening Later This Month

A couple of changes are taking place for a local group of cafes, including one bit of bad news and another bit of good news.

According to a Facebook post from the business, Coffee Break Cafe is closing its location on Parkingway in Quincy Center on March 22, with its new location on Franklin Street in South Quincy opening on March 23. The note also hints that another new location could be opening as the Parkingway shop shutters, saying that "Please know we want to be a part of the new Quincy Center and will continue to look for a new space but in the meantime please visit us at out other locations."

The Quincy Center location of Coffee Break Cafe first opened 22 years ago and was the second of its shops to open. Other locations of the business can be found on Old Colony Avenue in Quincy's Wollaston neighborhood, Central Avenue in Milton, and Truman Parkway in Hyde Park.

The address for the soon-to-close location of Coffee Break Cafe in Quincy Center is 77 Parkingway, while the new shop in South Quincy will be at 102 Franklin Street. The website for all of its locations is at http://www.coffeebreakcafe.net/
