A group of cafes with four locations south of downtown Boston will be opening a fifth shop in the same general area, and this one will take over the space where a chocolate shop had been until it moved to a new location.
According to a Facebook post from the business, Coffee Break Cafe is planning to open in the space on Franklin Street in Quincy where Purefections Chocolate had been until it moved to Hancock Street in Quincy Center over the past winter, with the note saying that "We are so grateful to Purefections chocolate for taking such good care of our new home." No opening date has been given for the new location of Coffee Break Cafe, though the post does say that it will open soon; as soon as an opening date is given, we will post an update here.
Other locations of Coffee Break Cafe can be found on Old Colony Avenue in Quincy's Wollaston neighborhood and Parkingway in Quincy Center, along with one on Central Avenue in Milton and another on Truman Parkway in Hyde Park.
The address for this upcoming coffee shop in Quincy is: Coffee Break Cafe, 102 Franklin Street, Quincy, MA, 02169. The website for all of its locations is at http://www.coffeebreakcafe.net/
[November 1 update: The Franklin Street outlet of Coffee Break Cafe has not yet opened, but it looks like it may be getting close to debuting, as a new Facebook post says that it "is finally starting to look and feel like a coffee shop. We don't have a date yet but it's coming SOON."]
