A longtime Beacon Hill restaurant that focuses on Italian food is shutting down permanently.
According to a source (Michael Shammas), Artu on Charles Street is closing for good, with a post on its Facebook page indicating that the closure is effective as of May 30 while also mentioning that its North End location on Prince Street will remain in operation. The Beacon Hill location of Artu has been in business for approximately 25 years, with the place being known for its cozy ambiance along with its variety of antipasti, pasta dishes, and veal, chicken, seafood options.
