A small group of dining and drinking spots that was supposed to open its first Boston-area location just as the coronavirus outbreak hit is now open for business.
According to a source, City Works Eatery & Pour House has officially opened at Arsenal Yards in East Watertown, with an earlier Patch article confirming this. The new place offers classic American fare and pub grub along with a wide variety of craft beer options, with an earlier article here saying that the group of eateries claims to be the "best beer bars" in the United States.
The Watertown location of City Works Eatery & Pour House had been in the works since early 2018, and the plan was for it to have its grand opening in mid-March of this year, right around when Governor Charlie Baker ordered restaurants in Massachusetts to close down their dining areas due to the pandemic.
