Peet's Coffee in Sudbury Has Closed

A California-based coffee roaster and retailer has closed yet another shop in the Greater Boston area, leaving only three outlets remaining in the region.

According to a source, Peet's Coffee in Sudbury is no longer in business, with an email sent from the company confirming this, saying that "After our assessment for the Sudbury location, we've decided to focus on our best-performing stores and close those that haven't met our business expectations." The closing of the Route 20 shop means that the only locations left locally are in Cambridge, Lexington, and Wellesley, as several others have shut down over the past few years, including in Boston's Beacon Hill and the North End along with Brookline, Chestnut Hill, and Newton Centre.

The address for the now-closed Peet's in Sudbury was 534 Boston Post Road (Route 20), Sudbury, MA, 01776. The website for the company is at https://www.peets.com/
