It looks like a ramen spot in the heart of Boston will be closing by the end of the year if not sooner.
According to Patrick Maguire of Maguire Promotions & Hospitality Consulting, Oisa Ramen Slurp & Go on Broad Street in the city's Financial District is making plans to shut down, with a boston.com article saying that owner Moe Kuroki has turned operations over to Broad Street Entertainment, which runs the adjacent Tiki Rock. The plan is to close the ramen place by December 31, but Kuroki mentions that it could end up shuttering sooner depending on revenue while also saying in an Instagram post that sous chef Manuel Castillo and prep chef Marcelo Pedrosa will take over the kitchen now that she has left. (Kuroki states that she plans to start doing pop-ups in the near future.)
Oisa first opened its doors in early 2018 around the same time that Tiki Rock debuted.
The address for Oisa Ramen Slurp & Go (and Tiki Rock) is 2 Broad Street, Boston, MA, 02109. The website for Oisa can be found at https://www.oisa-ramen.com/
