Nusr-et Steakhouse in Boston Has Reopened (But with Conditions)

A high-end steakhouse that opened in Boston two weekends ago only to be shut down a week later has opened back up once again, though the place is apparently on a short leash.

According to an article from Universal Hub, Nusr-et Steakhouse was allowed to reopen yesterday and as of last night it was indeed open, based on a post from boston.com. The Arlington Street restaurant was shut down by the city's licensing board last weekend due to multiple violations that included social distancing issues, blocked fire exits, refrigerators that were too warm, and dishwashers using water that was not warm enough. Yesterday, the licensing board said that Nusr-et Steakhouse could open back up, but there are now rules in place, including the fact that the staff has to get rid of any people congregating outside (whether in lines or simply loitering) and they can't allow people to come in without masks, while Nusret Gökçe (AKA Salt Bae)--who is behind the restaurant--has submitted a "security and operations" plan that says he will no longer pose for photos with patrons as the pandemic continues, nor will he post pictures of himself with customers on his Instagram account while the coronavirus remains a public-health emergency.

The address for Nusr-et Steakhouse is 100 Arlington Street, Boston, MA, 02116. The website for all locations of the restaurant is at https://www.nusr-et.com.tr/
