A local chain of seafood restaurants has closed a Boston location that had a slightly different concept from its other dining spots.
Based on information from several sources, including @Scott_Mac12, who posted a tweet about it earlier this week, Legal Oysteria in Charlestown has shut down, with one source (who has connections to the local restaurant industry) telling us that today was the last day for the City Square eatery, and that this is a permanent closure. A call placed to the restaurant confirms this, with the voicemail message saying that the place has indeed ceased operations.
Legal Oysteria first opened in 2014 in the former Olives space, with the restaurant focusing in part on coastal Italian seafood dishes.
The address for Legal Oysteria was 10 City Square, Charlestown, MA, 02129. Its website can be found at https://www.legalseafoods.com/restaurants/charlestown-legal-oysteria-104
