A couple of years ago, it was reported that a growing local group of bakeries and cafes would be opening a multi-use facility in a new development in South Boston. Now we have learned that the place has opened.
According to a note within its website, Tatte is now open in South Boston, saying that "It's been a long journey to get to this day!....We are thrilled to be a part of the neighborhood and open our cafe in the middle of our bakery space. Come meet our team, enjoy our pastry and food, and sip a latte watching our talented bakers at work." As mentioned earlier, the new spot, which is located in the former Cole Hersee building on Old Colony Avenue between West Broadway and Andrew Square, includes production space along with a bakery-cafe.
The address for Tatte in South Boston is 60 Old Colony Avenue, South Boston, MA, 02127. Its website can be found at https://tattebakery.com/
