A local company that runs a pickle cart on Boston Common and sells pickles at various markets and stores around the region is going to be opening a brick-and-mortar pickle shop in the Boston area early next year.
According to Adam's Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog, Grillo's Pickles is planning to open a shop somewhere in the city, with a possible opening between January and March of 2012. Grillo's Pickles first opened its pickle cart on Boston Common in 2009, eventually expanding into the retail business, with its pickles now being sold at markets in shops in the Boston area, elsewhere in New England, and New York. Their pickles can be found at such places as City Feed and Supply, Dave's Fresh Pasta, The Meat House, Pemberton Farms, Whole Foods, and many more spots.
