Paolo's Trattoria in Charlestown Has Closed for Renovations

An Italian restaurant that has been around for nearly 20 years has shut down for the time being.

A Twitter post from @The_Fliz from last week indicated that Paolo's Trattoria in Charlestown was closed and that earlier calls placed to the Main Street eatery went unanswered. A phone call placed to Paolo's today now goes to a voicemail saying that the restaurant has closed for renovations for the summer and that it will reopen in the fall. It is not yet known what kinds of changes will take place to the dining spot; as soon as we find out, we will post an update here.

Paolo's Trattoria is a family-owned restaurant that is known in part for its wood-fired pizza; the restaurant was established in 1998, according to the Manta site.
