A waterside restaurant that features Italian fare and seafood is going to be joined by a new concept that focuses on pizza.
According to food/drinks writer and publicist Kerry Byrne, Boardwalk Pizza at Victory Point is planning to open in the Marina Bay section of Quincy, with the place focusing on takeout and delivery and offering thin-crust pies sold whole or by the slice and using a lighter Italian cheese blend along with local herbs, produce, locally-sourced seafood such as clams and lobster, and house-made sauce as well as sea salt mixed into the dough. (Salads and sandwiches will also be available at the new spot.) Donato Frattaroli Jr., who is behind Victory Point, will also be behind Boardwalk Pizza, with he and his family being known for such restaurants on Boston's North End as Il Molo and Artu.
More information on Boardwalk Pizza will be coming soon, so stay tuned for updates.
The address for Boardwalk Pizza (and Victory Point) is 332 Victory Road, Quincy, MA, 02171.
